Kharibari, 26th June: A cargo container truck overturned on the national highway near Dhakru More, adjacent to Panitanki in Kharibari, after losing control.
Reportedly, the container truck was transporting dry bay leaves from Maynaguri to Haryana when it veered off the road and overturned into a ditch along National Highway (NH) No. 327. The driver sustained injuries in the incident.
Local residents promptly came to the driver’s aid, rescuing him and transporting him to Kharibari Hospital for medical attention. Upon receiving the news, the cops from the Panitanki Outpost arrived at the scene. The authorities have initiated an investigation into the accident.
