Conoravirus Terror: Siliguri’s woman decides not to perform her mother’s rituals on a large scale

Siliguri, 20th March: Considering the announcement made by the nation’s Prime Minister of a ‘Janta Curfew’ on Sunday from 7 am to 9 pm, the Chowdhury family of Laketown in Siliguri has decided not to perform their mother’s rituals on a large scale.


According to sources, Rani Chowdhury died on March 10. Her rituals were scheduled for Sunday. Jhunu Saha, the daughter of the deceased, stated that only the rules for rituals will be performed on Sunday. She stated that in view of the coronavirus outbreak, a decision has been taken to avoid a huge gathering following the instructions of the Prime Minister.
