Conflict broke out between TMC and CPI(M) in Siliguri

Siliguri, 13th March: Before the Siliguri Municipality polls, a conflict broke out between the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)) activists.


Ward No. 29 CPI(M) Councillor Sharadindu Chakraborty alleged that TMC has forcefully occupied one of their walls. He further alleged that they were even threatened by a few TMC leaders.

The Councillor stated that a protest rally will be staged on Friday.


Meanwhile, TMC leader Bijoy Dey denied all the allegations and further blamed CPI(M) of occupying their wall.
