Siliguri, 29th January: A fire broke out after an oil tanker collided with a container near Kalijhora, Sevoke last night at around 2 am. The driver of the container died in the incident.
Reportedly, the fire brigade and police reached the spot after receiving the news. After hours of effort to bring the blaze under control, the fire was finally put off around 7 in the morning. Traffic on the National Highway was disrupted for a long time following the mishap.
