Siliguri, 30th December: Winter has firmly set in across Siliguri and other parts of North Bengal, with cold conditions intensifying over the past few days. On Tuesday, the chill deepened, leaving residents shivering in the biting cold.
Since morning, the sun remained absent, affecting normal daily life. While many residents took refuge around fires in various parts of the city to stay warm, some were seen enjoying the cold weather.
Apart from local residents, tourists visiting different destinations in North Bengal are also gathering in Siliguri and experiencing the winter chill.
