Siliguri, 30th September: The Chief Minister announced to allot 104 acres of land for expansion of Bagdogra Airport. The announcement was made during an administrative review meeting in Uttar Kanya today.
“Bagdogra will soon become one of the largest airports in the country. The airport could not be expanded due to land shortage. However, after its expansion, Sikkim, West Bengal, and Bhutan will be benefitted. Besides, more international flights will be able to land at Bagdogra airport,” Banerjee added.
It’s really great Bagdogra Airport needed to expand.
