West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee is all set to release the party manifesto in Kalighat tomorrow. Banerjee today, filed her nomination from the Nandigram assembly seat, where she will be pitted against her aide-turned-rival Suvendu Adhikari who recently joined the saffron camp.
As per sources, Banerjee filed her papers at the Haldia sub-divisional office, after taking part in a 2-km roadshow. Before the nomination, she also offered prayers at the Shiva temple where the party’s ‘Khela Hobe’ slogans were raised. She was accompanied by her party president Subrata Bakshi.
