Cooch Behar, 16th December: While addressing a public meeting at Cooch Behar’s Rash Mela Maidan, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee openly challenged BJP and raised questions regarding the party’s contribution to the nation so far.
Apart from taking a jibe at the oppostions, the TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee highlighted various projects in the state and various development works conducted in Cooch Behar.
Banerjee said that her government fulfils all its promises. She claimed to provide free ration to the people of Cooch Behar till June of 2021 and has also build academies, cultural Boards, universities, and medical college in the city. She also announced that the state will also be paying for the marriage of girls.
The CM further maintained that 1 crore 10 lakh bicycles have been provided on behalf of the state. Likewise, 9.5 lakh students have been given tablets to attend online classes. Besides, priest allowances have also been started. Banerjee also stated that 1 crore rupees will be allocated for the Shiv Shakti temple.
