Siliguri, 25th May: After the cyclonic storm, Amphan created havoc in Bengal, the Darjeeling District Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) stepped forward to provide relief in the affected areas.
Starting from the party office, the leaders and workers, on Monday, visited different areas of Hillcart Road and collected relief.
CITU leader Saman Pathak stated that such an initiative has been taken keeping in mind the helpless situation of the poor people and the money raised will be sent to the affected people.
