As India is gearing up to fight against the novel coronavirus which has taken lives of 5 individuals and infected 223 in the country, Chinese Ambassador Sun Weidong, through a video conference stated that China stands ready to help India in fighting the COVID-19.
On Friday, the Indian officials and scientists from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and the Ministry of External Affairs discussed efforts in combating pandemic with the Chinese counterparts.
The Chinese Ambassador tweeted, “China stands ready to cooperate with India in fighting the Covid-19 and provide support and assistance within our capacity.”
