Siliguri, 05th August: Today, members of the Chhatra Parishad staged a protest in Siliguri to condemn the recent incident in Manipur. The demonstration took place at Hashmi Chowk in Siliguri, where protestors strongly voiced their opposition to the Manipur incident.
During the protest, the demonstrators questioned the silence of the Prime Minister on this issue. District Student Council President Shahnawaz Hussain, Youth Congress Vice-President Sayan Ghosh, North Bengal University Chhatra Parishad Unit President Ramesh Bam, Mohammad Alauddin, Ashutosh Roy, and others were among those present at the demonstration.
