Siliguri, 05th December: A shocking video has emerged from Siliguri, showcasing possible illegal practices in gas cylinder deliveries. The footage shows a delivery boy from a gas company transferring gas from one cylinder to another inside the delivery vehicle itself. The refilled cylinders are then delivered to unsuspecting customers.
The incident reportedly took place on a deserted road behind a school in Ward No. 02 under the jurisdiction of Pradhan Nagar police station. Illegal gas refilling is not a new issue in Siliguri. In the past, police campaigns have led to the arrest of several individuals involved in such activities.
These criminals exploit customers’ trust, siphoning gas from cylinders to black market it. Residents are urged to remain vigilant while receiving gas cylinder deliveries to avoid falling victim to such scams.
