Siliguri, 10th July: Central forces stationed at Naxalbari Hindi High School to prevent post-poll violence have withdrawn after concerns from the school authorities were reported.
The central forces had been present at the school since June 21, causing significant worry among the school administration. Despite 18 days passing, no alternative arrangements were made by the authorities, exacerbating the situation.
After the news spread, action was promptly taken. The withdrawal of the central forces began on Wednesday morning. The headmaster announced that the school is expected to resume normal operations the following day.
