Siliguri, 20th March: In preparation for the Lok Sabha elections, the central forces under the leadership of the Inspector-in-Charge (IC) of Bhakti Nagar Police Station in Siliguri conducted a route march to inspect various areas.
According to reports, the central forces have been deployed in the state in the wake to avoid disruptions during the Lok Sabha elections and to instill confidence in voters. On Wednesday, a route march was conducted in the Salugara Khola Chand Fapri area under the leadership of the IC of Bhaktinagar Police Station.
During the march, the central forces also interacted with the locals. It is to be noted that similar route marches by central forces will continue in the area until the Lok Sabha elections.
