Central forces conduct route march in Ambari ahead of panchayat elections

Rajganj, 05th July: On Wednesday, the central forces and state police officials carried out a route march through Ambari in the Jalpaiguri district ahead of the panchayat elections. The aim was to restore peace and order in the state during the upcoming panchayat polls. Reportedly, route marches were conducted throughout the district and several locations were circumambulated including Kamarbhita, Chakiabhita, and Battala of Ambari in the Binnaguri zone, led by the officer in charge (OC) Sandeep Dutt of the Ambari-Falakata Outpost.
