Siliguri, 27th February: After the assembly election dates for West Bengal were announced on Friday, a team of central force company arrived in the Siliguri police station area, today.
Arrangements have been made for the personnel to stay in Siliguri Hindi School. Likewise, another team of the force will also reach Bhakti Nagar and Matigara police station areas.
Reportedly, more central forces will arrive in the city before voting in Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri districts on April 17. The central forces present in the Siliguri police station area will undertake a route march in different areas.
