Siliguri, 23rd March: Chief Election Commission Sunil Arora, Deputy Election Commission Sudeep Jain, arrived in Siliguri today, along with 6 members of the election commission. After landing at Bagdogra airport, all officials left for the hotel in Sukna.
Reportedly, the officials of the Central Election Commission will hold a review meeting over final preparations for elections with the administrative officials of 8 districts of North Bengal.
It is to be noted, a 13-member team reached Siliguri along with Election Commission CEO Ariz Aftab, on Monday. The first meeting of the election officials has already taken place in the circuit house. Reportedly, today’s meeting will be the last meeting of administrative officials before the election. The EC team will hold a press conference on election-related topics on Wednesday.
