Central Colony Durga Puja Committee organized ‘Khuti Puja’ in Siliguri

Siliguri, 28th June: The Central Colony Durga Puja Committee of Siliguri organized the auspicious ‘Khuti Puja’ ceremony as part of the preparations for the upcoming Durga Puja festival. This year marks the 61st anniversary of the organizing committee, and they have chosen the theme “Bolchi Sobar Kane Kane, Amra Ebar Rajasthane”.


The committee is known for its innovative approach, and each year they create an enchanting Durga Puja pandals based on a unique theme. This year, they have decided to showcase the artistic culture of Rajasthan. Partha Dey, the Secretary of the Puja Committee, expressed their past success in captivating the hearts of the people of North Bengal with their visually stunning puja pandals.

Dey further mentioned that the committee’s focus is on creating an eco-friendly pandals that will leave a lasting impression on the visitors. With their dedication to craftsmanship and attention to detail, they hope to mesmerize the audience once again this year.
