Siliguri, 15th July: The Central Colony Durga Puja Committee in Siliguri has commenced their Durga Puja preparations with the ‘Khutti Puja’ ceremony on the auspicious day of Ulta Rath Yatra.
Attracting attention from city dwellers and visitors from beyond Siliguri, Central Colony’s Durga Puja is known for being one of the major budget pujas in North Bengal. This year marks the 62nd anniversary of their grand celebration.
All members of the club were present to participate in the ‘Khutti Puja’, marking the beginning of their elaborate preparations for the upcoming festival.
