Falakata, 18th March: A ten-bedded critical care unit (CCU) was inaugurated at the Falakata Super Specialty Hospital on Wednesday afternoon by the State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Alipurduar District Magistrate Surendra Kumar Meena, District-in-council President Shila Das Sarkar and many other dignitaries were present during the inaugural event.
The hospital was established in Falakata under the initiative of the state government in the year 2016. It has been learned that from now on, the critical patients of Falakata, Madarihat and Alipurduar No. 2 block will receive treatment at the Hospital’s CCU.
