Siliguri, 03rd April: A driver of a small cargo vehicle sustained injuries in a collision with a dumper in Siliguri.
As per reports, the accident occurred on Thursday morning when a dumper traveling from Matigara towards Darjeeling More collided head-on with a small cargo vehicle coming from Darjeeling More towards Matigara. The impact also led to a collision with an army vehicle, leaving the cargo vehicle driver injured.
Upon receiving information, personnel from the Siliguri Junction Traffic Guard reached the scene, rescued the injured driver, and sent him to Siliguri District Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, Matigara police have seized the dumper and initiated an investigation into the incident.
