Calcutta High Court orders a 20% reduction in schools’ tuition fee in West Bengal

Kolkata, 14th October: The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday directed all schools in West Bengal to provide a concession of 20 per cent in schools’ tuition fee and not take non-academic fees for the coronavirus pandemic period. The court’s order has been made compulsory for all non-government aided schools in Bengal.

The HC also formed a three-member committee to look into all fee-related complaints if schools do not grant concession as per the appeals by the guardians.
