Siliguri, 28th December: A gruesome mishap surfaced where a four-wheeler (Bolero) lost control and rammed into a passenger bus on the Asian Highway-2 (AH2) in the Gossaipur area in Bagdogra. The incident resulted in one fatality and five others severely injured.
According to reports, the four-wheeler was headed from Dakshineshwar to Kalimpong when it abruptly lost control and crashed into the passenger bus in the Gossaipur area. Consequently, one individual lost his life while five others suffered significant injuries. Among the injured, the health condition of two individuals is stated to be critical.
Upon receiving the news, the Bagdogra police promptly arrived at the scene and retrieved the damaged vehicle with the aid of a crawler crane. The incident is under further investigation.
