Burglary reported in Rajganj’s Ambari, cash and jewellery stolen

Rajganj, 04th January: A burglary was reported at a house in Mahamaya Colony, Ambari, Rajganj, after the residents found the home empty and ransacked.


According to reports, local resident Shefali Mondal had been visiting her brother’s house a few days ago. She returned to her own home to collect some documents required for her daughter’s SIR hearing. Upon arriving, she found the main door of the house broken. Inside, all household items were scattered in disarray.

Shefali Mondal alleged that the burglars stole around Rs 60,000 in cash kept in the almirah along with her daughter’s gold jewellery.


Following the incident, a complaint was lodged at Bhorer Alo police station. The police have begun investigating the case.
