Siliguri, 06th March: A daring burglary was reported at a hardware shop in the Madani Bazar area of Siliguri, where miscreants allegedly decamped with several costly items late on Thursday night.
According to sources, the shop owner discovered the incident on Friday morning while opening the shop. He first noticed that the ceiling of the shop had been broken.
After entering the shop, the owner found various items scattered inside, which led to the discovery of the theft.
Following the incident, the New Jalpaiguri Police Station was informed. Police soon reached the spot and began an investigation.
Officers inspected the site and started examining CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify those involved in the burglary.
