Rajganj, 25th September: Sensation prevailed in the area of Fulbari after a mosque was looted in a burglary. The theft took place in the Rangalivita area attached to Putimari under Fulbari. Reportedly, late last night a gang of thieves broke the lock of the shrine and entered robbing off the cash from the donation box of the mosque. They then quickly fled from the scene.
The members of the mosque maintained that about Rs 50,000 was stolen from the donation box. On the other hand, after getting information about the incident, the police of New Jalpaiguri police station reached the spot and started an investigation into the whole matter
