Rajganj, 09th February: One day after the burglary at 4 shops in Rajganj Bazaar, another burglary took place at 2 shops in Fatapukur on the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway on Tuesday night.
Reportedly, the thieves also tried to steal from a lottery shop, however, on not finding anything valuable, the thieves fled with light. bulbs of the shop. One of the victims, Khokan Paul stated that today morning after reaching the shop, he found the shop’s lock broken and all the things inside the shop were scattered. He alleged that the thieves have stolen around 30-34 thousand rupees worth of goods.
Local Panchayat Amal Kuri stated that the police monitoring near the national highway area has been neglected and incidents of burglary are frequent.
