Malbazar, 1st January: The Bharatiya Samaj Sewa Sanstha (BSSS) came forward with a unique initiative intending to provide employment to the underprivileged families of the tea garden area. Under this, the families will be provided the essentials of grocery shops to earn a livelihood for themselves and their families.
As per reports, on the occasion of New Year on Monday, Saraswati Lohar of Hathi Forest in Good Hope Tea Estate New Quarter Line area under Mal Block was provided with essentials to run a shop. Significantly, the shop will be named after her daughter Sonali Lohar.
Harshit Prasad, the organization’s in-charge of six states launched the initiative. In this regard, Harshit Prasad stated that several similar shops will be set up in the tea gardens in the upcoming days. He added that the organization aims to provide means of employment to underprivileged families.
Meanwhile, Saraswati Lohar expressed gratitude towards the organization. She added that the move would ease their hardships to sustain their families.
