Siliguri, 18th February: The Border Security Force (BSF) carried out a special drill in the area surrounding Siliguri’s Mahananda Bridge on Wednesday. The exercise was aimed at assessing security arrangements and increasing vigilance in this strategically important location.
BSF personnel conducted search operations under and around the bridge, monitoring vehicles and pedestrians. The drill focused on identifying suspicious activities and preparing for emergency situations, officials said. The exercise highlights ongoing efforts to maintain heightened security in key areas of the city.
