Siliguri, 05th April: Pradeep Goyal, Youth Councilor of Ward No. 9 under Siliguri Municipal Corporation and Chairman of Borough-II distributed ration among the needy.
Goyal along with the Ward Committee provided ration and vegetables to about 151 people. Masks were also distributed among the people.
According to Goyal, 5 kg flour, rice, pulses, salt and bread and vegetables were distributed among the needy in the form of ration. The Borough Chairman added that specific attention is being given to sanitization and cleanliness of the ward to contain the spread of the COVID-19 in the ward as well as the city. The initiative of the Councilor was appreciated by the people of the ward.
