Siliguri, 02nd August: Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from Fulbari, on Monday morning. The incident created a stir in the entire area.
It has been learned that the locals sighted the body lying on the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri NH 31 adjacent to Jiaganj in Fulbari. The matter was immediately informed to the NJP police. Upon receiving the news, the police reached the spot shortly after, recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
The police primarily assumed that the person was crushed under the wheels of a vehicle. An investigation has been launched into the whole incident.
