Fulbari, 14th March: Sensation ensued in the area after the body of a youth was found hanging from the noose inside his friend’s house. The incident surfaced from Paschim (West) Dhantala area of Fulbari Gram Panchayat No. 02, on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Mangal Paul of Purba (East) Dhantala. He was a Toto driver by profession.
As per the report, Mangal Paul allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope in his friend Sanjay Mallick’s house. The matter came to light in the afternoon and the matter was reported to the NJP police. As soon as the news was received, the police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it for postmortem. Police then started investigating the entire incident.
In this regard, Sanjay Mallick stated that he left for work this morning as usual. When he came home in the afternoon, he found Mangal’s body hanging from the noose. He further maintained that the two were not in contact for several days until Mangal suddenly came to his house unannounced. He denied having any information regarding his friend’s drastic step.
