Sikkim, 10th July: The lifeless body of Passang Tshering Bhutia, a 29-year-old Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) Jawan, was found in Geyzing today. He had been reported missing from his residence in Upper Kyongsa, Geyzing, since July 08. The body was found two days later in a feeder near St. Mary’s School in the area.
According to the information, Bhutia had availed himself of a three-day leave and was scheduled to return home on the day he went missing. Unfortunately, he did not reach his intended destination, which caused immense worry and distress among his family members.
The missing IRB Jawan was last seen riding a red scooty with the registration number SK04-0708. The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Passang Tshering Bhutia’s death. The Geyzing Police Station has filed a General Missing Diary entry to officially document the case, initiating the process of uncovering the truth behind this tragic incident.
