Bagdogra, 24th March: In an unsettling incident, the lifeless body of an infant was found near the parking lot of the Bagdogra station.
According to reports, the local children of the area stumbled upon the infant’s body in the bushes near the parking lot of the Bagdogra station. Following this, the local residents learnt about the news, arrived at the location and informed the Bagdogra police and the Railway police officers.
Subsequently, the police arrived at the location, retrieved the infant and transported it to the Bagdogra Primary Health Centre. During this, the medical professionals pronounced it dead. At present, the police are engaged in the further investigation of the entire incident.
