Rajganj, 08th September: A dead body of a person hanging from a noose has been recovered in the area of Fulbari adjacent to the Gram Panchayat office. The body was found inside a garage of a vehicle. The deceased has been identified as Bahadur Mahato, a resident of Bihar.
According to locals, Bahadur Mahto was an employee at a sweet shop in Fulbari. He used to sleep in a nearby garage every night after work. This morning after freshening up he went to the house. But after a long time when there was no response from him, the locals broke inside the door of the house. On breaking the door open they found Bahadur Mahto’s body hanging from the noose. Later the incident was informed to the police.
On receiving the news, the New Jalpaiguri Police reached the spot and recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for postmortem. Police have started the investigation of the whole matter.
