Siliguri, 09th May: Sensation prevailed after the lifeless body of a youth, identified as Sushen Mandal (27), was found hanging from a noose in Siliguri Deshbandhu Para area.
As per the reports, Mandal used to work as a security guard at a residence near Naba Jagrata Sangha in the said area. The locals, upon sighting his dead body hanging from a noose on Friday evening, reported the incident to the police.
The police after reaching the spot, recovered the body and sent it to the hospital for an autopsy. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
