Siliguri, 13th December: The board meeting was held on Monday in the presence of the members of the BoA of Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
In today’s board meeting, it was decided that the pending medical allowance of the former councillors will be paid soon. Besides, several restrooms will be constructed in the city and markets will be renovated.
Administrator Goutam Deb said that the allowances of former councillors have been completely stopped since last May. Many also applied to the municipal board for medical allowance and other allowances. Considering this, it has been decided to pay all the arrears from last May.
