Siliguri, 28th April: In a tragic incident that has stirred up shock and grief in the Hatiadanga area near Siliguri, a 17-year-old youth identified as Rahul Das was found dead under unknown circumstances.
According to the information, Rahul worked at a garage and was reportedly taken from his home early around 5:30 am on Sunday morning by his friends despite his mother’s objections. Later, upon returning home from work, Rahul’s mother came to know that her son was missing. Concerned, she initiated a search and eventually found Rahul’s lifeless body in a blood-stained condition behind a temple by the river in Hatiadanga.
In this regard, Rahul’s mother alleged that her son was forcefully drawn out of the house and brutally murdered. Meanwhile, the police from Ashighar outpost and Ambari outpost responded to the scene upon receiving the news and recovered the body with multiple wounds. As a result, the officials have initiated a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding Rahul’s death.
