Siliguri, 27th December: Various programmes are being carried out to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Students Federation of India (SFI).
A voluntary blood donation camp was organized in front of the SFI district office on Sunday. In view of the blood crisis being witnessed across the country, they urged the students to come forward for donating blood. SFI has set a target to collect 50 units of blood on their 50th anniversary. The collected blood will be sent to Siliguri District Hospital.
Ashok Bhattacharya, Jibesh Sarkar, current and SFI members, and other leaders were present during the camp.
According to organization sources, a huge rally will be held from Baghajatin Park on December 29. The rally will be attended by several leaders including Aishe Ghosh.
