Cooch Behar, 30th August: A blood donation camp was organized on Sunday at the Sadar SDO Office under the supervision of Cooch Behar Sadar SDO Sanjay Pal.
Reportedly, members of various voluntary organizations donated blood in the camp today. A total of 50 units of blood were collected during the camp.
Sadar SDO Sanjay Pal stated that a shortage of blood crisis is being witnessed in various hospitals due to the ongoing pandemic. Therefore, such an initiative was taken.
The collected blood has been sent to the blood bank of Cooch Behar Government Medical College and Hospital.
