Naxalbari, 27th June: In a commendable initiative, Naxalbari Sarada Vidyamandir, in joint efforts with the Marwari Yuva Manch, successfully organized a blood donation camp on Thursday, with the target of collecting 200 units of blood.
As per reports, active blood donors have been voluntarily contributing to the noble cause since early morning. Sujit Das, the head teacher of Naxalbari Sarada Vidyamandir, expressed gratitude towards all participants, emphasizing that the annual blood donation camp was held in alignment with the principle of ‘Sebai Param Dharma, Raktdan Jeevan Dan’.
All collected blood units will be transported to the Rotary Blood Bank. Meanwhile, the former vice president of Marwari Yuva Manch announced plans for a mega blood donation camp scheduled on June 29 in Siliguri and neighbouring areas.
