Siliguri, 10th January: On Wednesday, a blood donation camp was organized at the New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station under the ‘Utsarg Yojana’. The camp was organized under the initiative of New Jalpaiguri GRPS, Siliguri GRP District, in collaboration with Siliguri Terai Lions Blood Bank.
Notably, every year the blood donation camp is being organized to overcome the shortage of blood. During this, the citizens including NJP GRP, RPF, and Railway personnel donated blood. Reportedly, the collected units of blood would be sent to Siliguri Terai Lions Blood Bank.
