Blood donation and health check-up camp held in Siliguri

Siliguri, 26th January: On the occasion of the 71st Republic Day of India, a blood donation camp and a health check-up camp was organized on behalf of the Gate Bazar Welfare Byabasayi Samiti. Reading materials were also distributed among 30 poor students.
The State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb inaugurated the camp by lighting a lamp. ‘Banga Ratna’ winner Bharati Ghosh was present as the chief guest of the event.
The people’s health was examined by a few renowned doctors. The blood collected during the camp has been sent to the North Bengal Medical College-Hospital.
