Rajganj, 10th April: A blood donation camp was organized at the Rajganj BDO office under the initiative of the Rajganj Police on Friday. Several police officials and civic volunteers donated blood during the camp. The collected blood will be deposited in the Blood Bank of Jalpaiguri District Hospital.
CI Dipajjal Bhowmick, Rajganj OC Kesang Lama, Belakoba Checkpost OC Subrata Saha and many other dignitaries were present during the camp.
Dipajjal Bhowmik stated that due to the nation-wide lockdown, shortage of blood is being witnessed across the state. Therefore, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, blood donation camps are being held in almost every police station and check posts.
