Siliguri, 12th September: ‘Blind Football Championship’ was organized today at Tarai Tarapada Adarsha Vidyalaya ground in Siliguri. The championship was inaugurated by Siliguri Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma.
The initiative was taken on behalf of the voluntary organization Siliguri Unique Foundation and Football Association for the Blind of Bengal. A total of four teams participated in the championship.
Anoop Basu on behalf of Unique Foundation said that they are very pleased to organize such an event and wished to hold many such events in the future as well.
