Rajganj, 08th March: Preparations are underway in full swing in Rajganj ahead of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) ‘Parivartan Yatra’. Various parts of the area are being decorated with party flags, flex boards and banners.
According to sources, under the leadership of Rajganj Block Convener Nitai Mandal, party flags are being installed across several localities including Talma, Fatapukur, Hathi More and Gandar More. Party workers and supporters are actively participating in the preparations.
It has been learnt that the BJP’s Rath Yatra, which began from Cooch Behar, is scheduled to enter the Rajganj Assembly constituency in Jalpaiguri district on Sunday. On the occasion, two public meetings have been planned in the area.
The meetings will be held at Talma and Gandar More. BJP leaders claimed that there is significant enthusiasm among the public regarding the Parivartan Yatra and a large gathering is expected at the meetings.
