Siliguri, 16th September: After arriving at Bagdogra airport, Agnimitra Paul, President of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Mahila Morcha (women’s wing), stated that violence against women is on the rise in Bengal. She mentioned that a maha rally will be staged in this concern on September 18 from Siliguri Venus More.
Addressing the media, she stated that women are welcome to participate in the rally. She accused the state Chief Minister of taking no necessary steps in regards to the increasing rate of violence against women in the state.
