Siliguri, 30th December: Ahead of the Assembly polls, a workshop was organized on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Siliguri along with the booth level activists.
Reportedly, the workshop was organized at a private Bhawan near Siliguri’s Burdwan Road. Discussions regarding upcoming Assembly polls and procedures to conduct the election campaign was held during the workshop.
Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, Balurghat MP Sukanta Majumder, North Bengal in-charge Ratnakar Mishra, National JGS Shiv Prakash, West Bengal observer Arvind Menon, BJP state general secretary Sayantan Basu, Amitava Chakraborty, Kishore Barman, and many others were present at the workshop.
Darjeeling MP Raju Bista said that a workshop has been organized today along with booth-level activists. Senior BJP leaders, including the Home Minister, will visit Siliguri in the coming days. He is hopeful that BJP will come to power in 2021 by winning more than 200 seats.
