BJP’s 12-hour bandh: Party supporters burn tires in Siliguri’s Noukaghat More

Siliguri, 14th July: Several party supporters were spotted burning tires at the National Highway in Siliguri’s Noukaghat More to support the 12-hour strike called by the Bharatiya Janata Party across the entire North Bengal.

The bandh has been called as a sign of protest against the mysterious death of Devendra Nath Roy, BJP MLA of Hematabad under North Dinajpur district on Monday.

While the party workers, after burning the tires left the scene before the arrival of the police, numerous BJP workers were also detained from different parts of Siliguri for supporting the bandh.
