Chopra, 30th March: BJP workers were allegedly attacked in Chopra on Sunday night, prompting MP Raju Bista to visit the area and file a complaint at the local police station on Monday morning.
The incident occurred in the Kachakali area over a dispute regarding a BJP flag. BJP has alleged that several local Trinamool Congress leaders and workers were involved in the attack. Injured BJP workers were immediately taken to Islampur Hospital for treatment.
Upon learning about the incident, MP Raju Bista visited Chopra and submitted a formal complaint at the police station, condemning the alleged attack. He also stated that the matter is being reported to the Election Commission.
